I have taken a liking to making scones the last few years. I never was a big friend of those dry things but the recipe I came across is a moister version of them. I almost find it hard to share because I have been keeping it secret for so long. I hope you enjoy.

I have tried several different flavors. Here is a set of blueberry going together. These were fresh blueberries that I froze myself. The were amazing to bite into, super juicy.

Some of our others are : Raspberry, mixed berry, blackberry. I have also made peach and lemon poppy seed with my lemon doTerra.

Strawberry is a staple and sometimes we mix it with chocolate chips.

These are also frozen strawberries that I cut fresh and froze myself. They keep that way and are cheaper that buying them frozen already.

I pat them down into a circle and sprinkle it generously with sugar and cinnamon, then cut them into eight triangles.

And here is my final product.

These are hard to not eat. YUM. They don't last long in my house so I usually make two dozen being they are so easy. Here is the recipe. Let me know what you think.

Scones

Preheat oven to 375.

2 C flour

4 tsp baking powder

3/4 salt

1/3 C sugar (more if your berries are tart)

6 TBS Butter

3/4 c half and half

1egg

About 1 cup your choice of berries

cinnamon sugar

Mix dry ingredients in bowl. Cut in butter. Mix half and half and egg in separate bowl and then into your ingredients. It will be very sticky. Fold out onto floured surface and kneed in berries , just until incorporated. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar and cut into 8 triangles.

Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.

Eat hot or cooled. These are moist so don't keep them in to tight of container.
