DIY CHALLENGE

So...I LOVE PINTEREST !! I definitely need a PINTERvention. But it always challenges my creativity. I saw how one gal saw these wonderful table toppers from Pottery Barn and how she wanted to make them for herself. SO into the dollar store I went.

I bought $20 of items

Six dollars for glass ware. I loved the color of the plate.

Three dollars for moss and fillers.... ( sorry it's upside down)

six dollars for "flowers and wreath"

Five dollars for candles and accessories.

If my calculations are right that is $20......right?

Ok...now take all tags off. I used my Wild Orange Doterra to get the sticky off. Tear off the stickers and drop a little orange on the leftover "stick". Leave it for about 5 minutes. Don't use on plastic though.........

I used moss in the bottom of the tall glass, then added my wild flowers.

To finish it off I was able to tie the orange jute around it a couple of times.

I super glued the candle holders to the glasses.

I thought about maybe putting something in the candle holder before I glued it on but I decided against it. I probably will next time.

SO here is how the finished project came together.

I don't know...not as Awesome as Pottery Barn. I need to work on it but it might be worth a trip to a second hand store for some other items. Let me know what you think.
